This paper presents an account of the vegetation of Woddapatti, Pennagaram, Guttirayan and Hogainakkal Reserve Forests of Dharmapuri District, as observed by the authors during the year 1964-65. The vegetation in general is of scrub jungle type in Pennagaram and Hogainakkal Reserve Forests and dry deciduous type towards the interior of the other Reserve Forests.
